When to Take an Alaska Cruise
Taking Alaska cruises is a bit different than sailing to other destinations, because your window of opportunity is a bit more limited. Alaska cruises generally take place between the months of May to September. While July and August tend to be the most popular times to sail, May is the best time to view the wildflowers in bloom and September will give you a glorious glimpse at the fall foliage. You will get some beautiful scenery to enjoy during these months, but the weather patterns can be more unpredictable at these times. July and August will give you the best chance at the best weather to enjoy all of the outdoor activities available as well as time on deck when you are aboard your ship.
What to See in Alaska
The favorite tourist attraction in Alaska is probably Denali National Park.
